Call for abstracts

Residents and fellows
Submit your abstract and get the opportunity to present your work to an audience of experienced colleagues at CTID 2016. Selected abstracts will be featured in one of the interactive case sessions. 2 interactive sessions are being held:
“Kick the Dogma” (8 minutes):
There are several dogmas in our daily clinical practice, but some of them are not evidence based. This is your chance to “Kick the Dogma”. So use your best CAT (critical appraisal of topic) for this session and try to convince the panel of experts with results of recent
Interactive case series (15 minutes + discussion): a case should illustrate an important teaching point(s) related to infectious diseases or clinical microbiology. We stimulate an interactive presentation. The audience votes on the diagnoses or other related questions and the faculty discusses the case. The presenting author will provide the answers and summarizes a few teaching points related to the case.

Submission guidelines:
– Email an abstract of your case or dogma (max. 1000 words) to
– Deadline: November 30th 2015
– Case report disposition notices will be sent via email to presenting authors
– 250 euro discount on registration fee for presenting authors
